Imprints serve as the conceptual foundation of this studio, explored both as a noun and a verb. As a noun, an imprint represents the physical act of leaving marks or textures on a material surface. These impressions carry meaning, often manifesting as images or figures that evoke memory and resonance. Drawing inspiration from Rachel Whiteread’s work, where ‘things’ are
defined by overlooked negative spaces, we investigate textures as the essence of ‘things.’
